Frequently asked questions

How do I reset my password?

From the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password and enter the email on your account. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. If it doesn't arrive, check spam and then email chasemcdonald@verifundsolutions.com.

How do I add a property?

Open the portfolio view and tap Add property. You'll be asked for the property name, units, reserve targets, and an opening operating-cash balance. Properties can be edited at any time after setup.

Why is a distribution blocked?

Verifund only unlocks distributions when every reserve has hit its target. Open the property and look at the reserve cards — any reserve marked Watch or Critical needs to be topped up before the system will allow a payout.

Can investors and managers see the same numbers?

Yes — that's the whole point. Investors see the same property-level cash flow, reserves, and distribution math as the manager running the property. There is no separate "investor summary."

How do I cancel my account or delete my data?

You can request account deletion from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, or by emailing chasemcdonald@verifundsolutions.com from the address on file. We remove your personal data within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements described in our Privacy Policy.

Is my financial data secure?

Yes. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is scoped per account — managers see only their portfolios, investors only their positions. See our Privacy Policy for details.

I found a bug or have a feature request.

We genuinely want to hear it. Email chasemcdonald@verifundsolutions.com with what you expected, what happened, and a screenshot if you have one. Feature requests go on a list the team reviews every week.
